Photos: Sinead O’Connor confirms Van Morrison, Tom Jones, and Don Baker concert


On August 23, 2012, Irish singer Sinead O’Connor confirmed that she will participate in the Marlay Park concert featuring Van Morrison, Tom Jones, and Don Baker scheduled for Saturday. O’Connor will accompany Don Baker, as she is currently recording with the band.
O’Connor previously tweeted that she would pull out of the gig due to a lack of rehearsal time. However, she followed the tweet with a status update saying she and the band were able to coordinate a time to practice.
“Ok Good news.. Rehearsal time has been sorted and I now WILL be able to perform on Saturday with Don Baker.. Yaaaaay!!! Pls re tweet.”
The show kicks off at 15:30 p.m. and tickets cost €49.50.
For O’Connor’s fans, the show promises not to disappoint. O’Connor released her ninth studio album How About I Be Me (and you be you)? In the U.S. on Feb. 21, 2012 and in the Republic of Ireland on March 2, 2012. The album has been met with critical acclaim and came in at number 5 on the Irish album charts. Produced by O’Connor’s long time companion, good friend, and ex-husband, John Reynolds, the album is recorded on the independent record label, One Little Indian.
